Mishael Morgan is the first Black actor to win a lead category at the Daytime Emmys

Mishael Morgan accepts the award for outstanding performance by a lead actress in a drama series for her role in "The Young and the Restless" at the 49th annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday.

The 35-year-old from Trinidad and Tobago plays Amanda Sinclair on the CBS show "The Young and the Restless."
